What is Community English?

Community English are classes are delivered by Community Action Training  for speakers of other languages.

The classes are held in Fareham at Community Action Fareham and include:

  • how to speak English
  • learning about England
  • information about services in Fareham (including businesses and leisure activities) and how to access them
  • Handouts and exercises are given during each classroom session
  • Homework is often set for students to check their learning

We offer English classes for various levels of ability. All students are assessed before the course to ensure they attend the right level for them. This assessment is free of charge.

Our Community English classes are delivered in partnership with Fareham Language School
